Holiday After-school Arts & Crafts with Mrs. Carmona and Mrs. Chamberlain "Art helps you express your passion or feelings" - Xiret Ordonez, 2nd grade

Students were eager to express their creativity during the first session of Webber's Holiday After-school Arts & Crafts! in the primary class, we talked about what art is and the different types of art. During this session, we used tempura paint, paper plates and googly eyes to make a family of waddling penguins. Our upper graders experimented with watercolors to create a beautiful work of art. 
During the second session, primary students made a 3D reindeer. We talked about the difference between 2D and 3D art. Some examples of 3D art are sculptures, origami, and even pop-up books. Students were excited to create their 3D reindeer! It's fun to learn about the many forms of art!

April After School Arts & Crafts

Webber students in grades 1-6 are invited to join us for 3 Wednesdays in April, for a fun time creating beautiful and colorful decorations for our annual 5 de mayo celebration! We will learn how to make paper flowers, "papel picado" banners and our own mini pinatas! Space is limited, so sign up today!

“Second Harvest Food Bank Comes to Webber” 1-2 pm Tuesday, Dec. 5

Webber is proud to host a monthly School Pantry that is open to ALL members of the community. Everyone is welcome to join us on the 1st Tuesday of every month, from 1:00-2:00pm to receive free, fresh produce, such as carrots, onions, pears, apples and more! Make sure to bring a rolling cart or sturdy grocery bags to carry home your produce!
